Wood - The Renewable, Recyclable Resource

Wood Recycling:
Full Circle Recycling currently accepts only clean wood (free of paint, stain, glue or not pressure treated) as part of our wood recycling program. The current rate to recycle clean wood at our facility is $65.00 per ton. The product is then processed, shredded and reused as mulch or offered back to the community in the form of free kindling wood. Several charities and children’s organizations take advantage of this service.

United States is a country with a vast forest resource, comprising about one-third of its total land area (or about 3 million square miles). As a result, wood is an important renewable resource and is widely used in many applications! including building construction, furniture, fuel wood, textile fabrics, organic chemicals, and paper manufacture. This wide usage generates a large volume of wood waste. Currently, nearly 63 million metric tons of this material is generated in the manufacture, use, and disposal of solid wood products each year. Full Circle Recycling is an industry leader in wood recycling processes, and the reuse of lumber salvaged from building removal, pallets and many other sources.
